Let's be sincere: Searching in Virtuemart is not exactly the greatest thing on earth. If you're running a professional online shop with Virtuemart, you'll want to offer your clients better search options than those offered by Virtuemart itself. For this reason, we have published a specially developed component and a Joomla! module offering exactly this functionality. You can search for products and in categories. Moreover, you can conduct a search by price margin and categories, providers and manufacturers, independent of whether you enter a key word or not. All fields are related to each other. Consequently, you can conduct a search for a term within a specified category of a manufacturer and a specified price margin. Thus, your clients are offered the highest possible convenience when browsing your online shop.

Naturally, you alone decide the target and method of the search. The backend enables you to adjust, switch on or switch off all fields according to your wishes.

A little special feature is also contained: the component enables you to create a pre-defined search by a Joomla! menu link. The usefulness of this is obvious. If, for example, you launch a special promotion, you will be able to create and advertise an output of all products within a certain category and by a certain manufacturer or a price setting directly and thus boost your sales directly.
