Today we want and need to inform you about an important decision. With immediate effect we will no longer provide Themes for Virtuemart & JoomShopping. The respective products and downloads have already been taken down from our website. Below we will answer some important questions on this topic.
Why won't there be Themes anymore?
The systems for which we provided those Themes, Joomla!, Virtuemart and JoomShopping, have been radically enhanced in the past few years. Unfortunately, this has caused our Themes to have more and more compatibility problems and other technical problems. Since an online shop has to work reliably though, we can't and mustn't expect our customers to put up with something else not working after each update.
Will I receive support & updates for an already purchased Theme?
Yes, you will. You will still receive support & updates for as long as we promised when you purchased your license. How long that is depends on the license you purchased.
My Theme license has expired. Can I renew it afterwards?
Unfortunately you can't. As described above, insoluble technical problems/challenges led us to our decision. Therefore you will need to brace yourself to not receiving any more updates & support for our Themes in the near future.
I have just purchased a Theme recently, what now?
We will try everything so that you won't have any disadvantages caused by the new situation and the associated decision of ours. That's why you will either get your money back or you will be able to join our "Joomla! Club" without additional costs and choose one of our Templates. This offer applies for all customers who have purchased a Theme from us in the last three months.
Is my online shop at risk now?
No, it isn't. The worst that can happen is that you have to use our shop system without one of our Themes again and that it will have a slightly different appearance because of that.
Are there similar changes scheduled for Virtuemart Templates?
No, there aren't. Our Templates for Joomla!, Virtuemart & JoomShopping will still be retained.
We ask you to excuse the new situation and any associated problems.
You can be sure that this wasn't an easy decision and that we wouldn't have decided that way if it hadn't been necessary from our point of view.
