Free: Kunena Solved Plugin for the Joomla Kunena forum

Today we have again a small goodie for all Joomla! users who operate a Kunena forum and for example handle support through it.

In our own support forum we have the case that it's really hard to keep the overview about which problems of customers are already solved and which not. For this purpose we have developed the "Kunena Solved Plugin" for ourselves and want to provide it for you, the community, for free in this course.

Kunena Solved Plugin Features

The features are stated quickly. The "Kunena Solved Plugin" adds another button next to the "Thank you" button in the posts of the Kunena board which allows the creator of the thread to mark the thread as solved. You can define whether also moderators and administrators are allowed to mark the thread as solved with parameters in the backend. Here is an overview of all available parameters:

• Title which marks the post as solved freely selectable
• Message shown on marking a post as "Solved" freely selectable
• Message shown on marking a post as "Solved" can be enabled/disabled
• "Solved" button for admins can be enabled/disabled
• "Solved" button for moderators can be enabled/disabled
• "Solved" button for the creator of the thread can be enabled/disabled

Further development and maintenance

Like all of our charged Joomla templates & extensions, also the free "Yagendoo Kunena Solved Plugin" will be adjusted to the development of Kunena and Joomla! continuously. So you can safely use the template and plan with it knowing that it will be further developed in the future.

The plugin is freely available for private persons or companies and is published under the GNU/LGPLv2. You may use the plugin for your own sites, use it on other websites or create an own plugin based on it and continue distributing it. All copyrights in the code have be maintained.

Compatibility matrix
The plugin is developed and tested for the following versions. We will keep the compatibility matrix up to date also in the future so you can see whether your Kunena & Joomla! version is compatible with the plugin easily. If a version is marked with a plus sign ("+"), this means that all versions starting from this and higher work properly in combination with the plugin.

Support

Until further notice we provide support for the plugin through the comments below this post for you or in this forum thread. This means if it comes to technical errors or problems with the plugin we will have a look at them and fix possible bugs.

We don't offer support for questions to adjustments, customization desires and basic Kunena questions. We ask you to use the official Kunena forum in this purpose.

At this point, for legal reasons we have to refer to the fact that we, as usually practises by open source projects, cannot give any warranties or guarantees for the functionality and the compatibility to 3pd extensions of the software.
