How to install a Virtuemart Theme? (Virtuemart 2.0.X & Joomla 1.7 or higher)

Minimum requirement PHP5! The primary development platform for all VirtueMart themes by Yagendoo is PHP version 5 or higher. If you use PHP4, this won't be a problem, as your web host usually allows you to update the PHP version to PHP5.
Javascript
To ensure that the visitors of your website will see your template correctly, their browsers have to support JavaScript, which usually is the case. If JavaScript is disabled, certain components of the theme ( e.g. the zoom or tab feature) will not work properly.
During this documentation you will learn how to install a Virtuemart2 theme correctly.
1. Preparing Installation
Unpack the archive called "unzip_" locally on your computer. It contains two further archives named according to the Joomla! version. You will only need the file marked Joomla 1.7 / Joomla 2.5 during this documentaion.
2. Installing the Theme
2.1 Login to Adminpanel
Log-on to the Admin area of your Joomla! installation. Normally, you can access this area by calling up the following address in your web browser:
http://www.yourdomain.tld/administrator/
2.2 Upload the theme
Browse to the Extension-Manager using the top-menu of your adminpanel (maked red). Click on "select file" (marked blue) and select the file you extracted in step 1. Pay attention on selecting the file matching with your Joomla-Version. After selecting the correct file click "Upload & Install" (marked green).
2.3 Install the theme
After uploading the the theme you will be redirected to the theme-installation. Before the theme can be installed you have to choose the Joomla-Template you currently use. Provide this information by choosing your theme in the dropdown (marked blue). By default the right template should already be preselected.
To complete the installation please click the "Install" button (marked green). If there were no errors you should see a success message and your theme installation is complete.
